Last year we wrapped up a mixed-use project that's already changing how people think about urban density. Residential units up top, street-level retail that actually fits the neighborhood, and a green roof that's become an unofficial community gathering spot.
The building generates 40% of its own power and collects enough rainwater to handle all the landscaping irrigation. Oh, and it came in under budget - yeah, we were surprised too.
